About Us

I’m Mathews Wallace, and I started Jesus Bound with one of my best friends, Miller Steakley. We’ve been close for years, and we both share a deep love for Jesus and a desire to make a difference with our lives. For me, this brand started from something really personal. When I was young, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 blood cancer. It wasn’t just a one-time battle — he’s had cancer five times, and by the grace of God, he’s beaten it every single time. He’s still fighting today, and his strength, courage, and unshakable faith through all of it have completely changed the way I see life and faith. Watching him go through so much, and still cling to Jesus, brought me closer to God in ways I can’t fully explain. It showed me that faith isn’t just for the good days — it’s what holds you together in the hardest moments. That journey lit a fire in me to live boldly for Christ and to do something that could help others walk in that same kind of faith. That’s when Miller and I decided to create Jesus Bound — a clothing brand that’s all about wearing your faith boldly. We believe clothes can be more than just what you wear. They can tell your story, spark conversation, and point people to Jesus. This isn’t just a business to us — it’s a reflection of our faith, our friendship, and everything God has brought us through.
